Dr. Madee M. Salehi is a multidisciplinary scholar whose academic journey spans decades and fields. He pursued higher education in two distinct phases, nearly two decades apart. He began higher education at Purdue University (Indiana, USA) and earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering. Later, he pursued graduate education in sociology at Michigan State University, focusing on the sociology of industrialized and modern societies, as well as the social study of technology and industry.

Following approximately 14 years of full-time teaching sociology at universities in the U.S. and abroad, Dr. Salehi returned to graduate school in the U.S. to study emerging and futuristic advanced technologies, as well as applied mathematics. His objective was not to earn another degree, but to take a wide range of advanced-level courses at the master's and Ph.D. levels, focusing on computer science, computer architecture engineering, and the design of intelligent systems.

Ever since, he has further deepened his understanding through extensive study of current technological literature and related advancements. During this second academic phase, he also worked in industry with a large team, developing predictive mathematical models of air and water pollution, and contributing to the programming of computer simulations of these models.
